Faith Content
Some individuals or couples are always worried there may be a lot of Catholicism or religion preached during the Weekend Program or at the POSTs. The Weekend Program is NOT a religious retreat.
Although some aspects of faith are used during the Weekend Program, it is not about promoting any particular faith; it is a program devoted to helping couples rediscover their love for each other.
Participating couples will hear short quotes from scripture. There is also sharing that is presented by a priest. One presenting couple will share their spiritual journey.
Depending on the faith(s) of the presenting couples, you could be hearing from Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, etc.
Please check below, to read a letter from a non-Catholic who was very concerned about the Catholic content of the weekend.
